Best Fleets to Drive For® Education & Awards Conference open for registration

March event will recognize winning fleets, share winning strategies from the 2026 edition of program
NEWMARKET, Ontario – October 8, 2025 – Best Fleets to Drive For®, the only North America-wide evaluation of the best workplaces in the trucking industry, today opened registration for their annual education and awards conference, taking place March 16-17, 2026. The event, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, will recognize winning fleets and share insights from the 2026 winners.
Now in its 18th year, Best Fleets to Drive For® is an annual survey and contest identifying the for-hire carriers providing the best workplace experiences for their drivers. Produced by CarriersEdge®, a leading provider of online driver training, the program is open to all for-hire fleets operating 10 tractor-trailers or more in the US or Canada. Fleets are evaluated across a range of categories, including HR practices, operational strategy, professional development, and work/life balance. A comprehensive driver survey and indepth interviews with company representatives are conducted to score participants and identify the winners.
Recognizing Winners
The Top 20 Best Fleets, along with the Hall of Fame and Fleets to Watch (honorable mentions), will be announced January 27, 2026.
The Education & Awards Conference will publicly recognize those winning fleets and unveil two overall winners in the “large” and “small” fleet categories, as well as an overall winner in the Hall of Fame category.
Sharing Insights
With thousands of fleet responses and driver surveys reviewed through each year’s scoring process, the conference provides a detailed look at what the top performers are doing to keep their drivers happy and productive.
Attendees will learn about emerging trends, innovative ideas, and programs that are driving success.
They will also hear directly from winning fleets, who will share what has worked for them and how they got to where they are.

Event Details
The Education & Awards Conference will be held March 16-17, 2026 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, with preferred rates available at nearby hotels.
As an event focused on fleet education and recognition, vendor presence will be limited.
